Have you ever thought about what inspires you? What about the things that challenge you, or maybe the things that make feel make you feel unstoppable? I think everyone has that thing that makes them tick. It’s the “thing” that we can’t wait to wake up and do every day. As for me, my genius is enthused by the feeling you get during life’s biggest moments…the comfort of having those you love around… sharing your accomplishments with your biggest supporters… the satisfaction of pulling off the biggest day of your life…making a great impression when it matters most. I itch for the challenge of taking the stress out of the moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. Yes, I’m totally that crazy lady that wants to take on the stress others dread and avoid. The joy you see in a brides smile when her wedding day is everything she’d always imagined…the confidence a young professional has as they open the doors to the business of their dreams knowing their first impression matches their love for their work…the peace on a client’s face during the rough transitions in life when they realize they get to focus on them and not the logistics of the moments that sadden us most; these are all moment in which I am at my best.
I am Jay Nichole, Event Planner and Designer, and Welcome to The Enchanted Soiree. I have planned and designed gatherings on every scale from Intimate Brunches and Birthdays to Multi Event Wedding Weekends and Large College Campus Events. Earlier in my life I was much like every bride, overwhelmed by all the things wanted to make her wedding day to be perfect. But there were a few hiccups in my plan. 1. I’d spent forever thinking about all the endless things I wanted on my big day. I knew EVERYTHING I wanted down to the font on the invitations. 2. I was overtly particular and uncompromising. 3. MY BIGGEST MISTAKE… I planned my own wedding without help. My wedding went off wonderfully. None of my guests would have known that nothing went as planned. Because I wanted so much but also wanted to do it all myself very few things came out as I’d initially planned. My wedding day was more of an abbreviated version of what I’d pictured. [TIP OF THE DAY: You can’t hand decorate the flowers in the arbor at the alter and have your hair and make-up done at the same time.] The stress I felt throughout the process hindered me from enjoying what was supposed to be the best day of my life. Despite having everything planned down to the finest detail I couldn’t be the bride and the planner at the same time. Now I live to make sure no one feels the way I did. I take the stress out of LIFE’S BIGGEST MOMENTS.
In my business I’ve learned that not everyone can or even wants to worry about all the moving pieces involved in celebrating these moments. This doesn’t mean they don’t still deserve to enjoy those moments all the same. I have also learned that some are inspired by life’s big moments but need a little help in creating that perfect picture.
Let’s talk a little bit about why were are all here.
Enchanted-adj. [en·chant·ed ]: having or seeming to have a magical quality
I can’t think of any other way to describe how anyone would want their best days to feel. I started The Enchant Soiree to help everyone start to paint that magical picture. Here we will talk about everything an amazing event could need from flowers and décor to catering and planning. Here we open the doors and create a space where you can not only find inspiration and get caught up on trends, but also to get the extra help to keep life’s biggest moments monumental while keeping the stress that comes with that as minimal as possible. I am here to think about the things you never thought were possible and the things you never thought of at all. We won’t just be talking weddings. We will explore events of all sizes, those social and professional, those anticipated and unexpected, those casual and Black Tie.
Welcome to The Enchanted Soiree where together we will create the magical events of your dreams. I’m so excited to be taking this Journey with all of you. I look forward to helping and inspiring you to make your life Enchanted, and most importantly a little less stressful.
Let’s Get Planning!
XOXO,
Jay Beauvais
